Financial planning your clients can read.
MyMoneyWerks is a planning platform for advisory firms. Each firm runs on its own subdomain, takes a household through a guided intake, projects their finances year by year with Canadian tax modelling, compares scenarios, and delivers a plan the family can actually read.
How MyMoneyWerks works
A guided eight-step discovery: household, income, assets, liabilities, expenses, goals, insurance and estate, review. The advisor or the client fills it in, and a live snapshot of net worth updates beside every step.
The projection engine runs the household year by year to the plan horizon: federal and provincial tax, CPP and OAS timing, RRIF minimums from age 71, the OAS clawback, and a drawdown order across non-registered, TFSA and RRSP accounts.
Sensitivity levers turn one base case into what-ifs: retirement age, returns, inflation, spending, a market shock. Compare scenarios against base, then deliver a plan the household reads on the firm's own portal.
Built for how a firm plans
Eight steps from household to review, with a running net-worth snapshot the whole way. Dependants, pensions, contribution room from the notice of assessment, businesses, insurance and estate documents all have a place.
Year-by-year projections built on shared reference tables for tax brackets, benefit rates and RRIF factors: progressive federal and provincial tax, credits, pension income splitting, the OAS clawback and RRIF minimums.
Every plan starts from a base case built on the firm's assumption set. Adjust the levers to create what-ifs, compare each one against base, and promote the scenario you choose.
Net worth to the plan horizon, where each year's spending comes from, and where this year's income goes. Advisors see the levers; clients see the outcome, on the same tenant.
Each firm runs at firm.mymoneywerks.com with its own branding, roles (owner, advisor, associate, client), assumption defaults and session policy. Every tenant-owned record is isolated by row-level security.
Password plus a one-time passcode on every new device, an optional authenticator app, firm SSO for advisors, trusted devices for 30 days, and an append-only audit log of every write.

Questions, answered
What is MyMoneyWerks?
A Canadian household financial-planning platform for advisory firms. A firm runs on its own subdomain, takes each household through a guided intake, projects their finances year by year with tax modelling, compares scenarios, and delivers a plan the household can read.
Who is it for?
Independent financial advisors and the families they serve. The advisor runs the plan and owns the assumptions; the household signs in to the same firm tenant and sees the outcome.
How does the projection engine handle Canadian tax?
It computes tax per year on taxable income (RRSP and RRIF withdrawals, CPP, OAS, pensions) with progressive federal and provincial brackets, the basic personal and age amounts, pension income splitting between spouses, RRIF minimums from age 71 and the OAS clawback. Brackets and credits are indexed by inflation. It is a planning approximation, not a filing-grade calculation.
Can our clients see their plan?
Yes. Clients are invited into the firm's tenant with a client role and sign in on the firm's subdomain. They see the plan and its outcome; the sensitivity levers and assumption sets stay with the advisor.
How is our firm's data kept separate from other firms?
Every tenant-owned record carries the firm's tenant id and is protected by row-level security in the database, not just application filtering. Only reference data (tax tables, benefit rates, RRIF factors) is shared, and it is read-only.
Does it connect to our clients' bank accounts?
Not yet. Intake is entered by the advisor or the client today. Bank aggregation through Flinks, Plaid or MX is on the roadmap, along with tenant billing. Book a demo and we will show you where the build stands.
